Wine without sugar, how?

For our Zero Sugar Wine, the grapes are harvested early, while their sugar content is still low.

Our winemaker, Daniele, then applies a combination of unique and traditional fermentation techniques that naturally convert all present sugars into alcohol.

Thanks to this carefully controlled fermentation process, no residual sugars remain. This allows our wines to officially carry the ‘sugar free’ label, complete with a certified nutritional label.

How is it possible that there is no sugar in the wines of PURE The Winery?

The grapes used for Zero Sugar Wine are harvested early when they contain minimal sugars. Our winemaker Daniële then combines unique and traditional fermentation techniques to convert all sugars into alcohol in a completely natural way. This fermentation process ensures that all sugars in the grapes are fully converted into alcohol, leaving no residual sugars, unlike other quality wines.

Yes, all PURE Zero Sugar wines contain 10.5% alcohol.

How much sugar is normally in a glass of wine?

According to the Dutch Nutrition Center, there is an average of 8.9 grams of sugar in a 150ml glass of wine. That is equivalent to more than two sugar cubes per glass.

I’ve been ordering the Rosè and the Red via subscription, and while I’d love the orders to arrive immediately, if not sooner, then they could be available at the local shops?!

Myself and husbo love the products, and the omission of the addictive sugar component is very attractive. May Pure Zero continue to arrive (preferably at my door step), with gusto and we will share our informed opinions upon those in full sugar wine crises.
